Last week we spoke to you about Flash vs Functionality of your website.  Coincidentally, shortly after we were hired by a new client who said “We want our site to look simple and clean, but most importantly we need two functions integrated that will be the key to the site’s success”.  Our new client, the Southeast Urban Music Conference (SUMC 2011) came to us to build a site for them with an intuitive registration process for their attendees and an event calendar that they could manage themselves. 

We are happy to say that our client is thrilled at the results.  The registration for their conference is under way and the registration functionality that Judge Media has installed into their site for them is working smoothly.  The registration module allows SUMC to develop several levels of registration, add discounts, payment processing, automated email responders, and even automated event reminders to registered attendees.  The event module allows SUMC staff to enter events into the schedule that appear online in the appropriate day/category, show the venue, a printable schedule of each day, and even links to details of each event.

Judge Media's goal is always to strike a balance between great design and effective functionality.  SUMC2011.com is an example of how we reach our goals.
